Job summary

TMMG, LLC is seeking an experienced Production Support / Engineering Change / Shipboard Configuration / Production Readiness Specialist to provide onsite support to shipbuilding and ship repair programs at Fincantieri Marinette Marine. This role focuses on keeping production moving and resolving constraints before milestones.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in shipyard/industrial production or vessel repair.
• Ability to read and interpret ship construction drawings, eng. drawings, specs, work packages and changes.
• Working knowledge of shipboard construction relationships between Engineering, Planning, Material, Manufacturing and Scheduling.
• Ability to conduct ship checks and compare actual conditions with drawings and documentation.
• Investigate production problems, determine root causes, and coordinate corrective actions across organizations.
• Independently prioritize multiple production issues in a schedule-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and keeping detailed trackers, metrics, and status reports.
• Ability to work onsite in an active shipyard and aboard vessels under construction or repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite production-support, ECN research, configuration validation, and shipcheck methods.
• Maintain accurate change-status and configuration information for vessels or projects.
• Develop status reports, dashboards, and management reports showing open changes, progress, and root causes.
• Direct liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure technical requirements are executable on the vessel.
• Support launch, test, delivery readiness reviews by validating completion of critical work.
• Train or assist personnel in production-support processes and status-tracking practices.
