Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to coordinate daily shipping operations and lead a team to ensure safe, accurate shipments of finished goods. You will work with Logistics, Operations, and Quality to meet delivery commitments, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

The role requires 1-3 years in shipping or related fields, strong communication and leadership skills, and a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years in shipping, warehouse operations, logistics, or related function.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, freight procedures, and load securement requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to process data quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assign, and coordinate daily activities of shipping team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is completed accurately and maintained according to company procedures.
• Provide coaching and training support to team members and address issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and shipment accuracy.
