Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a shipping team leader for the 2nd shift to guide day‑to‑day operations in the Phoenix facility. You will supervise assemblers, machinists and shipping staff, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time performance while coordinating with planning and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include training, performance tracking and driving 6S and process improvements across the department, with a focus on delivering metrics for cost, schedule and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years of related factory/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to write reports in English.
• Familiarity with ISO requirements and basic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead LSP 2nd shift shipping team; supervise daily activities and assign tasks.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure quality, cost and schedule metrics are met.
• Provide training, track performance, and coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and HR.
• Support 6S/continuous improvement initiatives and use metrics to drive improvements.
