Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related factory/manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety regulations.
• Determine daily department requirements using planning inputs to meet goals.
• Provide training as needed to meet department needs.
• Identify daily work tasks for team members from work orders.
• Accountable for daily/weekly metrics related to cost, schedule, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Control and HR as needed.
• Participate in 6S and process improvement programs and audits.
• Track daily performance using charts and metrics.
• Assist in creating and developing systems, processes, and metrics for plant-wide improvement.
