Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing seeks a Shipping Support Clerk at our Maidencreek facility. You will handle administrative and operational support for shipping, serve as a key contact for carriers and drivers, and ensure accurate documentation and timely shipment processing.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic reading/math, and good communication. You will work with Shipping, Transportation, and Warehouse teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading and math skills are needed.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with PC and MS Word/Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal staff.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling and transportation needs with carriers.
• Prepare and distribute shipping paperwork to appropriate locations.
• Assist with completing and processing required shipping documentation.
• Monitor shipping boards to ensure timely shipments.
• Verify accuracy of reports against loading copies and shipping records.
• Support yard operations with trailer assignments and dock locations.
• Maintain and file shipping paperwork and related records.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Transportation, and Warehouse teams.
