This position serves as a key point of contact for carriers, drivers, and internal departments, helping ensure accurate documentation, efficient communication, and timely shipment processing.

East Penn requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic reading and math skills, and PC/Word/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading skills are required.
• Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required.
• Proficiency with PC, Word and Excel; able to work with mainframe systems.
• Strong communication, organizational and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal personnel.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling with carriers and internal teams.
• Print loading copies and distribute documentation.
• Complete shipping paperwork and reports for shipments.
• Monitor shipping boards and ensure timely shipments.
• Ensure accuracy of loading copies and shipping documentation.
• Assist with yard operations and provide shipment information.
