Job summary

Responsibilities include processing paperwork, coordinating appointments, and assisting yard operations, with a focus on accuracy and timely communication across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading skills required.
• Basic math skills including: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good telephone skills and ability to communicate with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal personnel regarding shipping activities.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling with carriers; arrange appointments and transportation needs.
• Print loading copies and distribute documentation to appropriate locations.
• Assist with shipping paperwork for common carriers and drivers.
• Monitor shipping boards to ensure timely product preparation for shipments.
• Review load reports and verify accuracy against documentation.
• Prepare and file shipping paperwork and related records.
• Support yard operations with trailer assignments and dock locations.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Transportation, and Warehouse teams to support daily operations.
