Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation seeks a Shipping Specialist to ensure accurate and timely product movement through shipping and receiving workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction across a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preparing shipping records, verifying packaging and labeling, completing ERP transactions, and assisting with inventory and fulfillment activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized shipping/warehousing training is a plus.
• Up to 3 months of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and data entry.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a collaborative environment.
• Basic math skills including unit conversions and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate shipping documents, labels, and related records for timely shipments.
• Verify finished goods, packaging, and labeling per specs and customer requirements.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Manage finished goods and overstock to maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
• Receive deliveries, inspect documents, and process receipts per procedures.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Support packaging, labeling, and fulfillment activities as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts and continuous improvement initiatives.
