Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Material Handler - Shipping & Receiving to move materials and finished goods safely and efficiently within the site. You will load, unload, inspect, and document inbound and outbound shipments, while maintaining accurate SAP records and collaborating with production and logistics teams.

This on-site role requires 2+ years in warehousing and forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of material handler experience and/or warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work responsibilities.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely while adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe and efficient transportation, staging, preparation, and loading of finished goods for shipment.
• Receive, inspect, and process inbound materials and deliveries.
• Prepare products for shipment in accordance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Create and process shipping documentation, including labels, Bills of Lading, invoices, Certificates of Analysis, and Dangerous Goods Declarations as applicable.
• Maintain current knowledge of transportation regulations and complete required hazardous materials training.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and banding machines.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records within SAP.
• Ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures and work processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Core Problem Solving, and other site programs.
• Maintain housekeeping, organization, and safety standards within the shipping and receiving areas.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics personnel to support business and customer requirements.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
