Job summary

Tronox is seeking a Shipping/Slurry Day Operator at our Hamilton facility in Mississippi. The role focuses on safe, quality, low-cost production in the Packaging area while upholding our core values.

You will perform locking out/tagging out, plan work with teams, and execute slurry truck loading, railcar operations, and product unloading in adherence to SOPs. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 5 years in manufacturing, ACT Work Keys Gold or higher, SAP and SharePoint familiarity, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Gold or above ACT Work Keys preferred.
• 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred; MS Office, data entry and basic computer skills expected.
• SAP and SharePoint knowledge preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work permits, isolation sheets, and perform LOTO activities per procedures.
• Coordinate and plan work activities with operating teams and maintenance.
• Execute Shipping and Slurry operations per SOPs including loading, washing, sparging, and unloading.
• Maintain inventory control with weekly and monthly inventories and audits.
• Complete documentation and data entry using Excel and plant systems.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies; support overtime as needed.
• Educate and guide aspiring team members; maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.
