Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator to manage the slaking process quality and timing while supervising proper slurry distribution. You will perform preventative maintenance and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Responsibilities include operating loaders, unloading materials, maintaining equipment, and adhering to shift schedules, with potential travel to other sites. A HS/GED and at least 1 year in heavy industry are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of heavy industrial experience.
• HS/GED diploma required.
• Able to work long shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Willing to travel to other sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate slurry system and perform quality control tests.
• Unload rail cars and trucks; mix lime and water at proper ratios.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain neat and accurate daily and monthly reports.
