Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a self-motivated individual to manage the slaking process quality and timing, supervise slurry distribution, and perform preventative maintenance and quality tests.

The role requires adherence to safety rules, paperwork accuracy, and readiness to travel. Extensive equipment operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance are essential to keep the plant running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of heavy industrial experience.
• Able to read and write in English and follow safety procedures.
• Able to operate slurry equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete paperwork (safety pre-shift, PMs, daily and monthly reports) timely.
• Report potential operational or safety problems to supervision.
• Perform duties neatly and in compliance with safety rules.
• Clean up in all plant areas and on off-site jobs.
• Operate front-end loader and other equipment for cleanup.
• Lubricate and perform minor repairs on conveying and other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on all equipment.
• Unload rail cars/trucks, mix lime and water at proper ratios, operate slurry equipment safely.
• Must hold a Texas driver's license and maintain clean driving record.
