Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a self-motivated individual to manage the slaking process quality and timing, supervise proper slurry distribution, and perform preventative maintenance with quality testing.

Position requires operating slurry equipment, driving responsibilities in Texas, and willingness to travel to other sites as needed. HS/GED required with at least 2 years heavy industrial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical knowledge of machinery.
• Must be extremely dependable and have excellent attendance.
• Time-sensitive roles require flexibility including weekends/holidays and overtime.
• Must read and write English.
• Must have current Driver’s Texas license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete paperwork: safety pre-shifts, PMs, reports.
• Identify and report safety or operational issues to supervision.
• Perform tasks neatly and safely with governing rules.
• Clean up operations areas and assist with site maintenance.
• Operate slurry equipment safely and efficiently; load/unload materials.
• Assist with maintenance and equipment repairs as needed.
