Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a self-motivated technician to manage the slaking process quality and timing while supervising the proper distribution of slurry. You will be accountable for preventative maintenance of the slurry system and quality control testing.

Qualifications

• HS/GED diploma required.
• Heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and policies according to regulations.
• Ensure accurate paperwork: safety pre-shift, PMs, daily and monthly reports.
• Report potential safety or operational problems to supervision.
• Perform work neatly and in compliance with safety rules.
• Operate cleanup equipment and assist maintenance staff as needed.
• Unload materials and mix lime with water for slurry operations.
