Amentum is hiring for a Customer Service – 1st Shift role focused on receiving and shipping materials to meet customer requirements. The candidate will inspect, classify, and handle items, with mentoring on blueprint interpretation and measurement techniques.

The role requires lifting up to 45 pounds, working in a noisy shop environment, and the ability to obtain an MHE license within 30 days. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential travel and security clearance responsibilities.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• May substitute general experience for education; minimal specific experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Read specifications and photographs as required.
• Read blueprints and schematics under mentoring.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, stands.
• Prepare labels and basic reports.
• Input data to automated receiving/shipping systems.
• Operate material handling equipment as assigned and licensed.
• Count, weigh, record data, apply tags and labels.
• Perform preventive maintenance adjustments.
