Job summary

Amentum is seeking personnel for a 1st shift Customer Service role (7:00–3:30, M-F) focusing on receiving and shipping materials to meet customer specifications. You may work with anti-static devices and will report to a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

Responsibilities include inspecting and classifying material, reading specs, using blueprints, labeling, data entry, and operating material handling equipment with an appropriate license.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months general work experience; no specific experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection
• May require travel and ability to pass Security Clearance requirements

Responsibilities

• Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts, rejects, and disposes of material per regulations
• Read specifications and photographs as required in DLA contract
• Use blueprints, schematics under mentoring of senior personnel
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, stands
• Prepare labels and basic reports
• Operate tools and equipment in performance of duties
• Receive/input data to automated systems for receiving/shipping duties
• May operate material handling equipment with required license
• Count, weigh, record data, apply tags and labels
• Perform preventive maintenance adjustments to related equipment
