Job summary

Amentum is hiring for a Customer Service - 1st Shift role in Utah. The position supports receiving and shipping, ensuring items meet customer requirements and regulations. Responsibilities include loading, labeling, and data entry with potential MHE usage.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three months of general work experience; a license to operate MHE within 30 days is needed, with some locations requiring travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months general work experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; may substitute experience for education.
• Must obtain MHE license within 30 days of selection.
• Inert Certification training requirements.
• May travel and pass security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Perform visual inspection or use measuring devices under mentoring.
• Read specifications and photos for DLA contracts as required.
• Read blueprints, schematics under supervision.
• Load/unload material on/off skids, pallets, stands.
• Prepare labels and basic reports.
• Operate tools and equipment for duties.
• Input data to automated receiving/shipping systems.
• Possibly operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) with license.
• Count, weigh, and tag records.
