Job summary

VMC Group is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage daily shipping and receiving activities in our Houston, TX facility. You will coordinate schedules, verify order documentation, and communicate with Production and Warehouse Supervisors to keep shipments on time.

The role requires 1–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and proficiency in English (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer skills and ability to use shipping software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
Communicate with Production and Warehouse Supervisors regarding shipping schedules, deadlines, deliveries, and related issues.
Review order documentation, including part numbers and quantities.
Prepare, package, label, and expedite shipments.
Complete required shipping and freight documentation.
Rate shipments and arrange carrier pickups.
