Job summary

RRD in Wisconsin seeks a Shipping Associate to support daily shipping and receiving activities. You will handle materials movement, prepare orders, load and unload shipments, and ensure adherence to customer specifications and service level agreements.

The role uses forklifts and other handling equipment, requires strong attention to documentation, safety, and cross‑department communication to optimize packaging, routing, and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong communication across departments and with customers is essential.
• Excellent organization and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfort with basic math incl. rate, ratio and percentages.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Proficient computer skills including data entry and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to optimize loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Shipments: check goods against documents, pack per specs, prepare bills of lading.
• Receive materials: unload trucks, verify against bills of lading and packing slips.
• Perform routine duties to support manufacturing per standard procedures.
• Maintain files and documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Assist with load planning of outbound trucks to meet delivery requirements and cost parameters.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and production.
