Job summary

Aerotek in Fremont, CA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for a server manufacturing company. The onsite role requires unpacking, stocking, labeling, and inventory control, with data entry in Excel and potential forklift operation if certified.

Shifts include Day 6:45 AM–3:15 PM at $21.50/hour and Swing 3:45 PM–12:15 AM at $23.00/hour. This contract-to-hire position is fully onsite in Fremont, CA, with standard benefits available for temporary roles.

Qualifications

• Experience entering data and maintaining records using Excel sheets.
• Proficiency with data entry and inventory records is required.
• Ability to operate forklift if certified and handle packing/receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and check goods received against orders or invoices.
• Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Input data and use Excel for record-keeping.
• Maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on the manufacturing line.
• Prepare kitting packages or conduct inventory counts as needed.
• Complete the put-away function of received goods.
• Label products according to customer requirements.
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack, if certified.
