Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for our Holland, MI facility. The role handles inbound and outbound shipments, data entry in ERP, and forklift operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will verify received items, package outgoing shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and ERP systems. A reliable, team-oriented candidate with safety awareness is ideal.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience with inbound/outbound freight.
• Regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds with safe lifting techniques.
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and warehouse tasks.
• Experience entering data in ERP or similar WMS.
• Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping platforms and processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, verify contents, and record items in ERP.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with safe packaging and team lifting as needed.
• Lift and move products up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Operate sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
• Create shipping labels and process outbound shipments using FedEx/UPS systems.
• Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory data in ERP and related software.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and maintain records.
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving areas for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members for heavy or bulky items.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shipping issues to internal contacts.
• Follow safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
