Job summary

Aerotek in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage inbound and outbound shipments, validate materials, and maintain accurate inventory in a state-of-the-art facility. This contract-to-hire role offers a hybrid work setup.

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and the use of ERP systems to track materials, with a pay range of $23.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with production, assembly, sub-assembly and wiring processes.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, kitting, logistics, packing and picking.
• Experience with ERP for inventory and logistics management.
• Ability to operate forklifts and hand trucks safely.
• Detail-oriented with accurate material validation and discrepancy recording.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to move materials.
• Prepare outbound shipments with accuracy.
• Receive goods and validate against supplier packing slips.
• Execute put-away and inventory maintenance.
• Maintain organized physical and digital inventory locations.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
