RRD is seeking a Packaging Specialist for the Production & Manufacturing department in West Bend, WI. The role supports shipping, receiving and material handling for printed products and samples, with hourly compensation and first/mid shift options.

Typical duties include processing shipments, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with carriers. The position requires 2+ years in shipping/manufacturing support and basic IT skills, with safety compliance a priority.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• General knowledge of information systems used for materials tracking, storage/retrieval, inventory control and reporting.
• Basic technology literacy; computers and standard software.
• Strong oral and written communication across departments.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and coordinate work phases.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Regularly lifting up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

Responsabilidades

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products shipped via freight or third-party LTL carrier.
• Checks goods against shipping documents and authorizations; packs goods for shipment per specs; prepares bills of lading; records shipping weights and charges; attaches shipping instructions to boxes.
• Receives materials by unloading trucks; checks against bills of lading and packing slips; maintains records of goods received.
• Performs routine duties in support of manufacturing areas per standard procedures.
• Maintains necessary files and documentation; uses small tools and material handling equipment to stage materials and load trucks.
• Communicates with customers, suppliers, customer service, and production; builds relationships within each department.
• Ensures products are handled, stored and shipped per guidelines at lowest cost; assists management with departmental activities and safety.
