Invio Automation, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to support production by handling inbound/outbound materials, operating a Hi-Lo, and ensuring accurate, safe handling of parts.

You will prepare shipments, coordinate with carriers, and help keep production flowing in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and forklift experience, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; forklift experience required.
• Minimum 1 year in a shop environment.
• Safety-conscious with ability to operate forklift.

Responsabilités

• Prepare incoming outsourced and in-house finished parts for secondary operations.
• Prepares shippers for outgoing internal items.
• Scheduling of trucks through third party shipping
• Preparing shipments for international shipping
• Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures.
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers, inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Routes incoming material to proper destination.
• Follow instructions given by supervisor quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Able to perform other shop duties required by the company.
