Job summary

ServiceSource is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to handle inbound packages and mail for the CDC campus. Responsibilities include sorting, scanning, and inspecting parcels, with forklift use and on-site certification provided.

You will coordinate with government customers and carriers such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL to ensure secure, compliant handling of items. The role supports a nonprofit AbilityOne program, requires basic material handling skills, and offers opportunities to work in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year mail handling experience required.
• 1 year shipping and receiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive Packages
• Process outgoing letter mail
• Process and ship packages and work with Animal Handlers
• Receive and transport perishable biomedical supplies
• Receive and distribute bulk liquid nitrogen
• Check-in packages against orders using ECAT system
• Track and forward paperwork to Purchasing Agent.
• Track outbound packages
• Inspect and scan packages
• Sort and distribute inbound mail/packages.
• Adhere to SOP’s concerning special packages such as tracking and shipment of incoming biological and other radiological contents.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
