Job summary

ServiceSource, a nonprofit employer under the JWOD/AbilityOne program, seeks a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage outbound shipments and coordinate incoming goods. You will supervise dock staff, maintain the Warehouse Management System, verify manifests, and ensure accurate packing and transport readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of shipping/receiving experience (military logistics a plus), forklift certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days, and strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of shipping/receiving clerk or dock supervisor experience preferred, military logistics exposure is a plus.
• Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and update outbound quantities.
• Coordinate inventory and space in shipping bays with the Warehouse Specialist.
• Verify outbound orders against manifests, invoices, or DA Form 3161.
• Review ASNs in STORES and authorize transport clearance codes.
• Ensure outbound shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and loaded for transport.
• Prepare and maintain records of goods shipped and received (manifests, bills of lading).
• Direct Order Fillers on the shipping docks and staging lanes.
• Coordinate with Medium Truckdrivers for route manifests and safety seals.
