Salary/Hourly Rate:$29.68

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention receives all inbound packages and mail for the campus. The Clerk sorts and catalogs incoming items, including scanning, X-raying, and inspecting parcels and mail for suspicious indicators. Forklift use is required, and the company will provide on-site certification. This role requires regular communication with government customers regarding mail and package handling and includes daily processing of outbound mail and packages. Interaction with third-party vendors such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, R&L, and other freight agencies is also expected.
