Job summary

ServiceSource Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the CDC campus. You will receive packages, process mail, and handle outbound shipments with forklift; on-site certification is provided.

You will interact with government customers and freight carriers such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, R&L. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of mail handling and shipping/receiving experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year mail handling experience required.
• 1 year shipping and receiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive Packages
• Process outgoing letter mail
• Process and ship packages and work with Animal Handlers
• Receive and transport perishable biomedical supplies
• Receive and distribute bulk liquid nitrogen
• Check-in packages against orders using ECAT system
• Track and forward paperwork to Purchasing Agent.
• Track outbound packages
• Inspect and scan packages
• Sort and distribute inbound mail/packages.
• Adhere to SOP’s concerning special packages such as tracking and shipment of incoming biological and other radiological contents.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
