Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Irvine, CA for a contract-to-hire position. The role supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include: handling materials, verifying documents, coordinating carrier pickups, and maintaining accurate records in ERP systems. Requires 4+ years in related operations and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory control, logistics, or related manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and influence others using data and relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
• Knowledge of shipping, inventory, lot traceability, and warehouse processes.
• Hands-on experience with shipping/receiving activities and warehouse ops.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against orders and packing slips.
• Store and distribute materials in designated Kanban locations and stockrooms.
• Pick, package, label, and stage goods for shipment per procedures.
• Coordinate daily sterilization shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as packing lists and bills of lading.
• Verify product numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and documentation prior to shipment.
• Escalate discrepancies or holds promptly to the appropriate department.
• Coordinate daily pickups with carriers and freight providers.
• Track shipments and communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.
• Process shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions in ERP systems.
