Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a contract-to-hire role in Wixom, MI. The position involves coordinating shipments with major carriers, delivering materials, and managing inventory using barcode scanning and an ERP system.

The role requires 2 years of shipping/receiving experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with inventory software. Onsite work from 6 am to 3 pm with full benefits when permanent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in Shipping and Receiving.
• Experience in picking orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer experience with inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with freight carriers.
• Deliver materials to proper locations and return unused material to inventory.
• Scan barcodes and enter data into ERP for inventory tracking.
• Pack goods for shipment.
• Assist truck driver with loading/unloading.
• Perform pickups and deliveries with company vehicle.
• Build crates for shipping small parts and finished products.
• Support continuous process improvements.
