Job summary

Hedy Holmes Staffing is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate in Galt, CA. You will prepare shipments, load/unload trucks, handle materials, and maintain accurate shipping records while following safety policies.

The ideal candidate has warehouse or shipping experience, can operate forklifts and related tools, and maintains strong organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a daytime schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience and/or certification.
• Clean driving record required for operating company vehicles.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal shipping instructions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks.
• Ability to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Pull, package, palletize, crate, and prepare parts and materials for shipment.
• Verify parts, quantities, packaging, and shipment information for accuracy before shipping.
• Load and unload LTL trucks, flatbeds, pickup trucks, and other delivery vehicles.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, shipping, receiving, and loading areas.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, customers, and delivery drivers during pickups and deliveries.
