Job summary

RRD is seeking a shipping/receiving associate for the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) at the St. Charles, IL location. You will assist with daily shipping/receiving activities, ensure orders meet customer specifications, and support manufacturing with material handling and documentation.

The role requires basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Benefits and a team-based environment are offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years in shipping/manufacturing ops.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products shipped via freight or third party LTL carrier.
• Checks goods against shipping documents, prepares bills of lading, and posts shipping charges.
• Receives materials by unloading trucks and verifying against bills of lading and packing slips.
• Maintains records of goods received and coordinates with other departments as needed.
• Operates material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to stage materials and load trucks.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and adheres to safety policies.
