Job summary

Alphia is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Texas to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control for ingredients and supplies. You will ensure accurate counts, proper labeling, and safe operation of forklift equipment in a production environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production, maintaining FIFO stock, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting in quality checks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year in shipping/receiving/packaging is preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience desired; forklift certification through LANI required.
• Good working knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Team player who can multi-task and contribute to team goals.

Responsibilities

• Support the shipment of goods produced and received, and organize storage for saleable goods.
• Ensure shipping counts match picking documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Apply labels and tickets before shipping; examine outgoing shipments for specs.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies; ensure receiving documents accuracy.
• Direct others in preparing outgoing/receiving shipments; load/unload trucks.
• Weigh ingredients, sample and test in lab when required; maintain FIFO and stock.
