Job summary

Alphia is seeking a Warehouse Operator to load and unload finished goods, use a computerized inventory system, and prepare shipments. You will operate a forklift (certification required) and ensure accurate picking, packing, and documentation of loads per customer specifications.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to GMPs and SOPs while supporting Receiving & Inventory personnel. CDL is a plus, but not required, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form.
• Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
• Basic math skills to include addition and subtraction.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to read and follow simple written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift with Alphia certification.
• Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy before loading.
• Load trucks with finished product and document the process.
• Make pick lists and Bills of Ladings; conduct cycle counts.
• Operate semi tractor-trailer; CDL preferred but not required.
• Move trailers and yard equipment as needed.
• Use inventory system and hand-held scanners to track stock and shipments.
• Pick and ship material (LTL and truckload); cycle counts after runs.
• Assist Receiving & Inventory personnel; maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs; report any food safety or quality concerns.
• Other duties as assigned or directed.
