Job summary

Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support inventory control, packing, shipping, receiving, and disbursement tasks in a manufacturing warehouse setting.

The role requires operation of JD Edwards and barcode scanners, accurate clerical work, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with flexibility to meet business needs and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior warehousing experience preferred.
• Read and interpret written and verbal instructions; follow safety, quality, inventory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Enter information in JD Edwards system.
• Handle clerical duties including responding to emails.
• Follow department objectives, processes and procedures.
• Load, unload and move material within the warehouse.
• Use equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and carts.
• Multi-task to meet deadlines; perform other duties as assigned.
