Qualifications

• Ability to work with staff, vendors, contractors and the public.

Responsibilities

• Label shipments ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies.
• Prepare documents such as bills of lading or shipping orders.
• Support shipment of goods produced and received into production or storage.
• Coordinate pickups with carriers per customer purchase orders.
• Operate forklift or other equipment safely during loading/unloading.
• Read orders to determine items to move or ship and ensure correct routing.
• Move materials between receiving and shipping areas as required.
• Ensure forklift and warehouse equipment are maintained and safe to use.
• Communicate with stakeholders and management about shipping status.
