Job summary

RRD in Newark, DE seeks a shipping/receiving associate to support daily materials movement, packing, loading and shipping of finished products via FedEx, UPS, USPS and other carriers.

Responsibilities include clerical/manual tasks, records maintenance, forklift operation, load planning, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while coordinating with internal teams to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of information systems including materials tracking and inventory control.
• Good oral and written communication across departments.
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (forklifts).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping/receiving of materials, supplies and finished products.
• Check goods against documents and prepare bills of lading.
• Unload trucks and verify against packing slips and bills of lading.
• Maintain files and documentation; ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Coordinate load planning and communicate with customers and suppliers.
