The Shipping and Receiving Specialist ensures the proper and timely flow of all materials and products from arrival until stored or shipped, following established policies and procedures. This role involves physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Understanding of customer service policies, FAA regulations, and government procurement (if applicable). General knowledge of Parker products, manufacturing, inspection, and repair processes. Ability to apply continuous improvement methods, evaluate information, resolve problems, and communicate effectively. Proficiency in standard business software, manufacturing resource planning (MRP), and financial systems. Ability to participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands frequently. Close vision required. Must maintain regular attendance, work cooperatively, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate professionalism.
