Job summary

PPG is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. You will process shipments, prepare documentation, coordinate carrier pickups, and ensure timely delivery of orders.

This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime potential based on business needs. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Shipping/warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and warehouse management systems.
• Experience with SAP preferred; training is available.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify outbound shipments for accuracy.
• Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory transactions.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (if certified).
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Communicate with warehouse, customer service, and leadership teams.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
