Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily warehouse and distribution operations in Alexander, AR. You will process shipments, prepare documents, coordinate carrier pickups, and ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime potential. Prior shipping or warehouse experience and basic computer skills are preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous shipping, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office are needed.
• Experience with SAP is preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify outbound shipments for accuracy.
• Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
• Track shipments and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain shipping records and inventory transactions.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (pallet jacks/forklifts).
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Communicate with warehouse, customer service, and leadership.
• Follow all safety procedures.
