Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months in shipping, receiving and warehouse operations preferred.
• Be prepared to operate powered industrial trucks; forklift certification within 2 weeks of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Handles all shipping/receiving while keeping accurate records.
• Determines method of shipment, using routes and rates.
• Affixes shipping labels on cartons or pallets with proper information.
• Unpacks, inspects, and records shortages/overages; rectifies issues.
• Operates forklift and hand equipment to move materials.
• Interacts with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure timely shipment.
• Maintain housekeeping; ensure inventory is stored properly and aisles are clear.
• Observe required safety rules; other duties as assigned.
