Job summary

ACS in Verona, WI is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Assistant to manage material flows in the Manufacturing Facility. The role covers receiving, shipping, packaging, and material management to ensure accurate handling and timely deliveries.

You will sign for materials, prepare packing lists, coordinate with carriers, help production find parts, lift up to 40 pounds, and occasionally travel. Minimum high school diploma and 1 year in logistics are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year in material handling, shipping, receiving or logistics.
• Familiar with Word, Excel, email and Internet research for job-related tasks.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials, sign for items, and check packing lists against received goods.
• Ship items by coordinating with freight carriers and creating packing lists/bills of lading.
• Package and crate items for shipment; load items onto trucks and assist with site shipments.
• Label items with PO numbers and cost codes; organize and store inventory.
• Assist production with locating materials and monitor stock levels.
