Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to learn ERP/WMS transactions.
• Ability to safely operate required material-handling equipment following training.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous/explosive materials in accordance with training.
• Ability to become qualified/certified on forklifts and other required powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine shipping and receiving activities to move materials, supplies and finished products.
• Verify quantities and basic documentation for incoming materials.
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and address concerns.
• Label, stage, pack and prepare materials for shipment; load/unload using approved equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and shipped in ERP/WMS.
• Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels and routine documentation.
• Move materials to designated locations and notify recipients of arrival.
• Escalate discrepancies or documentation issues to supervision.
• Ensure safety, 5S and quality requirements are followed.
