Job summary

Colonial Group in Chino, CA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager to lead day-to-day shipping and receiving within our Distribution Center, ensuring inbound and outbound products move on time and accurately. You will oversee dock operations, labor planning, productivity, service levels, and drive safety and quality, while mentoring Supervisors and Clerks and aligning with company values.

Qualifications

5+ years of Distribution Center, warehouse, shipping, and/or receiving experience preferred.
Experience supervising Shipping & Receiving operations is strongly preferred.
Must have experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
Leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility is important.
Lean Six Sigma exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily management of Shipping and Receiving operations, inbound/outbound product flow.
Lead dock activities ensuring timely loading, unloading, staging, and movement of product.
Monitor schedules and address issues impacting product flow or service levels.
Provide supervision, training, and mentorship for Supervisors and Clerks.
Drive process improvements and safety initiatives across the department.
