Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager for our Distribution Center in Chino, CA. You will lead inbound and outbound product flow, oversee dock operations, labor planning, and service levels, while prioritizing safety and quality.

You will champion company values, provide strong leadership and tactical direction, and drive day-to-day performance in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DC/warehouse shipping/receiving.
• Experience overseeing Shipping and Receiving operations.
• Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT).
• Leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of inbound/outbound product flow and dock operations.

Responsibilities

• Staffing levels for Shipping and Receiving based on inbound/outbound volume.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals.
• Maintain safety, quality, and service levels for internal and external customers.
• Oversee dock activity and movement of product to ensure timeliness.
• Provide leadership and mentorship for Supervisors and Clerks.
• Lead continuous process improvement efforts within Shipping/Receiving.
