Qualifications

• Experience in a shipping department is required.
• Must be able to drive forklifts & other powered industrial equipment proficiently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to make independent decisions and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality and damage.
• Ensure items are labeled, packaged, documented, and traceable.
• Process receivers, bills of lading, work orders, and shipping docs.
• Coordinate with freight carriers for quotes and scheduling.
• Supervise and train shipping/receiving staff on procedures and safety.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate reports on shipments and inventory as needed.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
