Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. in Syracuse, UT is seeking a Warehouse Associate to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments in the Shipping and Receiving department. Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, full-time, non-exempt.

You will use the WMS to process and track the flow of goods, verify driver paperwork, maintain dock security, and communicate effectively with carriers and customers to ensure accurate data entry and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented.
• Able to interpret packing slips.
• Use a WMS to process and track goods in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers and contacts about inbound/outbound movements.
• Enter product information into the WMS and track storage and shipping.
• Verify driver identification and manage dock doors.
• Know product locations to assign dock doors.
• Report issues to the warehouse for planning.
• Enter carrier/customer paperwork into the system accurately.
• Generate and review bill documentation with drivers.
• Identify extra charges and collect from drivers.
• Assist Customer Accounts with posting shipments.
• Maintain professional relationships with carriers and customers.
