Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service oriented.
• Able to interpret packing slips.
• Familiar with using a WMS to process and track goods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers and contacts about inbound/outbound movements.
• Enter data into the system from carrier/customer paperwork.
• Verify driver identification and assign dock doors.
• Maintain knowledge of product location in the warehouse.
• Report issues to supervisor and coordinate with the warehouse.
• Complete order checks prior to releasing drivers.
• Identify extra charges for pallets, overtime, or labor.
• Assist Customer Accounts with posting shipments.
• Oversee driver check-in/check-out and yard verification as needed.
