Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Associate to ensure accurate and timely processing of all shipping and receiving documents. The role collaborates with the Transportation Department to schedule inbound and outbound freight and communicates with customers as required.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience, plus proficiency with PCs. Occasional forklift/crane/truck operation and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound freight with Warehouse or Transportation Manager.
• Ensure proper labels and tickets before shipping.
• Maintain security at dock doors.
• Assist loading/unloading and operate forklift, crane, and truck as needed.
• Comply with OSHA and other standards.
• Ensure accuracy of receiving and shipping documents.
• Enter data into systems and maintain records.
