Job summary

Avista is seeking a Warehouseman to receive materials, stock shelves, locate and prepare items for shipping, and maintain inventory accuracy. The role emphasizes safety as a core component of daily operations and supports the company’s commitment to reliable, efficient service.

Applicants should have 6 months of shipping/receiving experience, familiarity with inventory systems, and MS Office skills. Forklift experience and a CDL/ DOT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in shipping/receiving/issuing and inventorying materials preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and MS Office Suite required.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred; must pass forklift training.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and stock warehouse shelves and outside storage areas.
• Fill orders by locating materials and preparing them for shipping.
• Participate in physical and cycle count inventories and use the inventory system.
